AVH DRAPING PROJECT

Paris American Academy

Inspired by Anne Valerie Hash, I was prompted to drape a design on a half-scale mannequin using a second-hand tailored jacket. After choosing a design, I began to drape the design, large-scale using muslin toile. Once draped, I properly marked the muslin so that in the future I would be able to easily recreate the design using fashion fabric. In addition to the drawings, I created a portfolio showcasing the design process.
