Scholastic Art and Writing Awards - Honorable Mention

This garment was created for the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards competition and won an Honorable Mention. I draped a basic shift dress, added a front center panel using exposed French seams, and individually sewed 2" x 4" panels of muslin to the garment. After the dress was assembled, it was dip-dyed in tea.
