TEXTILE PROJECT

Paris American Academy

For this project, I was challenged with using an unconventional material to create a textile design. I used strips of magazine pages to create paper beads. With these paper beads, I wired them together to create cap sleeves. I then fastened the cap sleeves to a tunic style dress using hand stitching techniques.
